Your Aunt Belle passed away recently, didn't she?

Fletch lowers his head and nods.

JIMMY LEE
You're still broken up about it, aren't you?

Fletch nods.

JIMMY LEE
We know how important it is to move through
that grief. Are you grieving in your heart?

FLETCH
I am grieving.

JIMMY LEE
And even her generous gift to you of the ancestral
home, the beautiful Belle Isle, does not lighten
your grief!

FLETCH
It does not.

JIMMY LEE
Admit that you are a sinner, Irwin.

JIMMY LEE
God bless you.

LYDA PERL
Hi...wasn't that thrilling? I never felt like
that in my life, except the last time.

Jimmy Lee is beaming as he enters to say a word to those saved. He looks at Lyda Perl.

JIMMY LEE
Welcome home, Lyda Perl...Have you made
your grief offering?

BETTY
(miffed)
We were just getting to that.

The woman swoons and he comes to Fletch. He pulls a pamphlet from his pocket.

JIMMY LEE
(continuing)
Nice to see you Mr. Fletcher.

FLETCH
(ignoring him)

JIMMY LEE
(hands him the pamphlet)
My book of revelations, and a guide to the

FLETCH
I don't know how to thank you.
Praise the Lord.

JIMMY LEE
Each in his own fashion, son. Hallelujah.

FLETCH
Hallelujah. Praise Him.

JIMMY LEE

138 EXT. GROUND - NIGHT (MATTE SHOT)

Jimmy Lee giving Fletch the grand tour in his golf cart which bears the licencse CHARIOT 1. A Christmas motif gift shop is loaded with merchandise featuring Jimmy Lee's picture. We pass a Mississippi River Boat with "Captain" Jimmy Lee's picture smiling down.

JIMMY LEE
When we're finished - when we've been able to expand
- Bibleland will be a kind of Heaven on Earth. There's
the hotel. we call it the Heavenly Hilton and Convention
Center. Beyond it, the "Farnsworth Bible College". Over
there is the "Jog for Jesus Trampoline Center".

FLETCH
Is that like "Prayerobics"?

Jimmy Lee smiles.

JIMMY LEE
Yes indeed. The Lord wants our bodies
as healthy as our souls.

FLETCH
Who can blame him?

Jimmy Lee laughs heartily. Ahead, a side of the Farnsworth Auditorium with a sign proclaiming the number of days to the next "Healing Night".

JIMMY LEE
You got the idea. I like you.

FLETCH
I like you too, Jimmy Lee. And I do want to help
Bibleland. Of course, I'm so spoiled by this
glamorous Southern mansion life...

JIMMY LEE
You know, Irwin, I really think it was part
of God's plan that Belle Isle would complete
Phase Two of Bibleland...

...You don't know how much your land would mean to
our ministry - and, of course, to God. He gives
us the guidance.

FLETCH
Bless him.
